Trust & responsible technology
How Mobilehome Navigator is designed to earn trust
How Altrusent's responsible technology principles are applied to Mobilehome Navigator.
Human purpose and authority
Mobilehome Navigator is intended to improve access to useful knowledge, practical understanding, and next-step assistance for mobilehome residents and homeowners. Technology and AI are means to that purpose, not the product's authority. People retain control over consequential legal, financial, safety, privacy, security, property, and release decisions.
Truthfulness, provenance, and uncertainty
Navigator is designed to distinguish known facts, generated explanations, recommendations, uncertainty, commercial relationships, and external expertise. When jurisdiction, source authority, or recency matters, important information should be traced to or verified with an appropriate official source, park rule, utility, licensed professional, or other responsible authority.
Safety and non-harm
Emergency, gas, electrical, fire, structural, violence, habitability, eviction, and other high-risk matters should receive conservative safety or professional routing before routine troubleshooting. Automated assistance should not encourage action beyond the user's competence or substitute for qualified help when consequences are material.
Privacy and security
Resident information should be minimized, access-controlled, and isolated between accounts. Secrets are intended to remain server-side. Altrusent's security approach emphasizes least privilege, protected credentials, validation, separation of concerns, logging discipline, and failure containment. Product changes that affect authentication, payments, privacy, data access, or release authority require stronger validation and human control.
Fairness and accessibility
Mobilehome Navigator should be usable by people with differing access needs and should avoid unjustified exclusion or discrimination. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing product-quality responsibility, not an optional enhancement.
Commercial independence
Provider relationships, referrals, partnerships, advertising, or future commercial arrangements must not secretly influence substantive guidance. A provider listing does not represent endorsement, guaranteed quality, availability, licensing, insurance, or park authorization.
Bounded automation and computational stewardship
Altrusent intends to use the least resource-intensive reliable method that can accomplish a task safely. Automation should operate within explicit scope, authority, risk, and evidence boundaries. Higher-impact or ambiguous decisions require review or human execution, and unnecessary processing, model escalation, duplicate work, and retention should be avoided.
Continuous improvement
Incidents, user feedback, audits, research, accessibility findings, and observed performance should be used to refine Mobilehome Navigator while preserving human benefit, safety, privacy, trust, and user control rather than optimizing only for speed, engagement, or revenue.
Feedback and concerns
Product and accessibility feedback may be sent to support@altrusent.com. Privacy questions or requests may be sent to privacy@altrusent.com. Security-sensitive reports may be sent to security@altrusent.com and should avoid unnecessary public disclosure of exploitable details.
